The other day my baby sister sent me a video of a cardinal sitting on one of her car mirrors. She said she’d been thinking of mamaw lately, and the bird has appeared every time. That cardinal brings her comfort.
Sounds odd, doesn’t it? Not to me. The old folks around North Carolina say cardinals are visitors from heaven. Who am I to disagree?
