Yesterday, Mama Clark told us about an upcoming doctor’s appointment. She said her checkup was scheduled for Monday week. Of course, if her appointment were on a Friday, she would’ve said Friday week. This is a phrase I wasn’t familiar with until I married into the Clark family. Since then, I’ve probably heard it a million times. Her mama, Mimi, used to say it too. It means next Monday.
